OUTREACH
We’ve customized outreach into three flight options to fit the make up of students that you will bring this summer. For some of you, servant evangelism and outreach of this kind is new territory for your group. We strongly recommend (1) Outreach Classic. Your group is going to have an awesome experience with our very best, tried and true, outreaches at the hottest locations around town. For those groups who have been coming to SOS for years, we’ve created (2) Outreach FREESTYLE for you. Your group will be E2 two and Partner Project two days. Each day will be determined from times listening to God and responding to His leading. We will also wrap several unique, new-to-SOS outreaches into this package. The third option is for groups who want a taste of both experiences…the best of both worlds, so to speak. Classic, guaranteed outreaches and totally Freestyle, “if God doesn’t show up we’re screwed”, opportunities to love the people of Cincinnati. We affectionately call this flight, (3) Outreach HYBRID.

AM CELEBRATIONS: Middle School and High School Editions
As a youth worker, you know that there are distinct differences between middle schoolers and high schoolers.
A couple of our favorites are:Middle schoolers are happy to be anywhere with anyone; High schoolers refuse to
be anywhere a middle schooler is…or, anyone that looks a day over 25 (frickin’ dinosaurs…) Each group asks a
question. Middle schoolers subconsciously ask, “do you like me?!, do you like me?!” (think golden retriever here).
High schoolers ask, “do I like…you?” (think major attitude here).

Anyway, we’re continuing to have our AM Celebrations (that means ‘church service’ for you new folks) but we’ll be having custom, specific, concurrent programming for middle schoolers and high schoolers. We’ll fully celebrate all of the uniqueness (and zanyness) of middle school in one room, and we’ll relevantly connect with the older adolescents in another. Your students will LOVE it!

INDIVIDUALIZED FREE TIME
Past surveys tell us that free time hasn’t been your favorite over the years. So, we’re chucking it!
Following outreach, your personal City Guide (see more about this in the Outreach tab) will take you to one of a variety of places around Cincy to grab a local dinner and take in some of the sights and sounds of the city. You might be on the riverfront, or carving up a frisbee golf course, or surrounded by water in a pedal-boat, taking a hike in one of our awesome parks, or chilling to some jazz music. The beautiful thing here is, your City Guide will be your group’s personal tour host all week. He/she will get to know your group’s personality and suggest destinations that will be perfect for your team.
Bottomline, we plan on rocking the ‘freetime’ section of the survey this year!
