Outreach

At SOS our goal is for you to grow in celebrating God and loving the world. To grow in these areas, we have to GET OUT there where the people are! By taking our love for and celebration of God and turning it outward to love others, we can make God famous all over the world!

Time and time again, we see SOS participants learning to trust that God will use them to bring people to Himself. It will happen for you! No matter your age, experience or talents, God wants to work through you to do small things with great love that will change our world!

We call it loving them into relationship with Jesus, and the outreaches are practical ways of showing people God’s love. The outreach lineup for 2011 consists of the following:

 

• Water Giveaways: Outreach groups will bombard some of the busiest intersections in Cincinnati giving away FREE bottles of cold water to motorists. They just cannot believe it’s free and that you’re doing it to show God’s love in a real way!

• Car Washes: We’ll be spreading the love by washing every SUV, sedan, and truck this side of the Ohio River for FREE!

• Block Parties: We bring a full scale carnival to brighten the day for some of our neighbors. Groups will run games, grill free hot dogs, make and give away free sno-cones and have a blast!

• The E2 Project: Groups will be trained in a prayer experience, seeking God’s specific and spontaneous direction. Based on what God says, groups will GO and DO in faith --- we’ll supply the bus and the cash.

• Partner Projects: We will join forces with some amazing partners who are doing great things serving the marginalized in our city.
